Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El-Gazzar and Sherif El-Sherbiny, Head of the New Administrative Capital City Development Authority, have reviewed the progress of residential, service, and amenity projects in the Third Residential District (R3) of the New Administrative Capital (NAC), Invest-Gate reports.
This comes as the delivery of residential units in the district approaches, catering to a number of government employees relocating to the NAC who have expressed their desire for these units, apart from those already delivered in Badr City.
Moreover, El-Gazzar emphasized the importance of the swift delivery and operation of the remaining service projects completed in the R3 district, stressing the periodic monitoring of utility networks, including water, sewage, irrigation, gas, and telecommunications, to enhance the quality of life for residents.
El-Gazzar noted that the R3 residential district spans approximately 1,016 feddans, comprising 24,000 units and villa areas, alongside essential services, such as the postal service, civil registry, real estate registration, nurseries, as well as schools, and the establishment of a vehicle licensing unit, police department, and civil defense unit, among others.
In a related context, El-Sherbiny and officials from the relevant authorities conducted inspection tours of the R3 district to oversee ongoing work. Several extensive meetings were held with companies entrusted with implementation, attended by consultants and project supervisors.
Notably, El-Sherbiny discussed the progress of service-related works in the district with project managers and supervising consultants, emphasizing adherence to project timelines while prioritizing the completion of service projects with optimal quality and efficiency.
