El-Gazzar Oversees Implementation of “Sakan Kol El Masryeen” Presidential Initiative in Sadat, 10th of Ramadan, Capital Gardens Cities

Assem El-Gazzar, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has been overseeing the progress of the units within the presidential initiative Sakan Kol El Masryeen (“Housing for All Egyptians”) in Sadat, 10th of Ramadan, and Capital Gardens cities, Invest-Gate reports.

El-Gazzar highlighted that the Sakan Kol El Masryeen initiative, launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, aims to provide suitable and affordable housing for citizens across different income segments, both in new cities and governorates. The initiative focuses on three income categories: low-income or modest-income, middle-income, and upper-middle or distinguished income.

Furthermore, the initiative aims to create job opportunities and offer services in the locations where the housing units are being developed to establish integrated and well-planned urban communities.

El-Gazzar emphasized the importance of increasing manpower and resources at the project sites, advancing utility and road projects, and implementing service projects alongside the construction of the housing units. This approach ensures that the units are delivered to their beneficiaries with complete facilities and services.

He further stressed that companies proven to have failed in previous implementation projects will be withdrawn from their contracts, and they will not be assigned future work.

El-Gazzar stated that the Sakan Kol El Masryeen initiative is implementing a green housing model for the housing units. These units incorporate environmentally friendly building materials, which contribute to approximately 25% energy and water savings. The initiative also focuses on distinctive designs to meet sustainability standards during the implementation of the projects.
