El-Gazzar Reviews Interior Designs of Hotel in Sur Magra El-Oyoun Area Development Project

Assem El-Gazzar, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has recently chaired a meeting to review the interior designs of a hotel within the Sur Magra El-Oyoun development project in the Cairo Governorate, Invest-Gate reports.

The meeting was attended by Abdel Muttalib Mamdouh, the Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) for the Development and Urban Development Sector, Abdul Khaleq Ibrahim, the Assistant Minister of Housing for Technical Affairs, and the project consultant.

During the meeting, El-Gazzar emphasized the importance of ensuring that the hotel’s interior designs meet the highest operational standards. He elaborated that it is crucial for the designs to align with the requirements of the international hospitality brand Hilton Hotels & Resorts, which will be responsible for the operation and management of the hotel.

The hotel is situated in the historic Sur Magra El-Oyoun area, which is being developed to harmoniously combine authenticity and modernity.

El-Gazzar highlighted that the Sur Magra El-Oyoun development project encompasses several components. This includes the construction of 79 residential buildings comprising 1,924 housing units, as well as a hotel, an administrative and entertainment commercial mall, and other features such as restaurants, cinemas, and an outdoor theater. The project holds significant importance for the Cairo Governorate as it aligns with the directives of the political leadership to restore the city’s cultural splendor and enhance its historical, cultural, and tourism role.
