El Gazzar Reviews Projects Progress in Capital Gardens City

Assem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, declares the execution rate of several residential and service projects in Capital Gardens City, Invest-Gate reports.

He explains that more than 92,000 housing units have been implemented, most of which are for low-income people. In this context, El Gazzar states that the total investments of residential projects have reached EGP 15.1 bn so far.

For the 2,350-acre area, the minister clarifies that around 29,496 units are underway under the 10th announcement of the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative. Besides, El Gazzar discloses that 32,088 units (14th announcement) are ongoing as well, in addition to offering 30,420 units in the same announcement. Adding to this, 1,824 units in the 15th announcement are offered for implementation for middle-income people.

For his part, Adel Abdel Aziz, head of the Capital Gardens City Development Authority, remarks that road networks are being carried out in the Housing for all Egyptians with a total length of 47 km, with an implementation rate of 80%. For infrastructure, it has been developed with a 40% completion rate.

Besides, around 15 service buildings are underway in the 2,350-acre area, including three schools, two nurseries, a medical unit, two bakeries, four commercial markets, two youth centers, and a worship house.
