El-Gazzar Takes Action to Eliminate Building Violations in the First and Second Sectors of the Northwest Coast

Assem El-Gazzar, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has issued four decisions aimed at addressing building violations in specific areas under the jurisdiction of two development agencies: Sector One of the Northwest Coast and Sector Two of the Northwest Coast, Invest-Gate reports.

The decisions focus on removing construction violations in three plots of land located within two tourist villages along the Alexandria/Matrouh Coastal Road, which fall under the authority of the First Sector Development Authority for the North-West Coast.

These violations include the construction of a store, an addition to an existing building on the ground floor, and a building consisting of six shops on the ground floor. Additionally, a building violation involving the construction of a roof and other unauthorized structures in a tourist village within the jurisdiction of the Second Sector Development Authority of the Northwestern Coast will also be removed.

The implementation of the removal decisions will be carried out by the two development agencies in collaboration with the Reconstruction Police and the relevant authorities.

El-Gazzar emphasized the importance of preventing building violations in all their forms and taking necessary measures against violators. The objective is to eliminate random phenomena and violations in new cities, control urbanization, preserve the aesthetic appearance of these cities, and prevent the emergence of informal settlements.

These decisions reflect the government’s commitment to maintaining the planned development and orderly growth of new cities, ensuring compliance with building regulations, and upholding the overall urban landscape.
