El-Gazzar Takes Action to Remove Encroachments, Prevent Violations in New Al-Fashn, New Beni Suef Cities

Assem El-Gazzar, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has announced the removal of encroachments and the recovery of approximately 40 acres of land in New Al-Fashn City, Invest-Gate reports.

El-Gazzar also stated that 10 decisions were implemented to halt construction on plots of land that violated building requirements, and violations were removed in New Beni Suef City.

El-Gazzar personally supervised the progress of removing encroachments and preventing violations in the two cities. He emphasized the ongoing efforts to recover state-owned properties in new cities and the decisive approach to dealing with encroachments on state lands and unauthorized construction violations.

Walid Abdel Rahman, the head of New Mallawi and Al-Fashn cities, explained that a large-scale campaign was conducted in the new city of Al-Fashn to remove encroachments and reclaim the land. Major General Hatem Turk, Deputy Director of the Urban Communities Police, the Urban Communities Authority, officials from the Urban Communities Police and the Authority, as well as members of the Violations Removal Committee, were present during the campaign to eliminate illegal occupation of state-owned lands.

Mohamed Essam El-Din, the head of the New Beni Suef City Authority, reported that a campaign was launched to enforce 10 decisions to halt construction on plots of land in the social housing area 4 of the city. These decisions were made due to violations of building permit requirements. The city’s Construction Police Department and the relevant agency departments collaborated in implementing the decisions.

These efforts reflect the Ministry’s commitment to maintaining order and ensuring compliance with building regulations in new cities, as well as reclaiming state-owned lands that have been encroached upon.
