El Gazzar: Up to 57,000 Citizens Have Registered through Real Estate Finance Support Fund’s Website

Assem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, confirms that the recent offering of housing units ready for immediate delivery to middle-income citizens in projects (Sakan Misr, Dar Misr, and Janna) has witnessed a great turnout from citizens, Invest-Gate reports.

He states that the number of citizens who registered and uploaded documents through the website of the Social Housing and Real Estate Finance Support Fund exceeded 15,000 clients, explaining that the high turnout of citizens to register on the website indicates the possibility of a significant increase in the applicants’ number during the coming period until the last day for applications on March 8 and will not be extended, in preparation for the start of the second phase of the announcement.

Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing and Real Estate Finance Support Fund, indicates that the fund is studying increasing the number of units in the cities offered within the announcement, with an increase ranging from 7,000 to 13,000 housing units.

Moreover, she notes that in the case the number of units increases to 20,000 housing units within the three projects, days will be allocated to reserve units of the housing project to reduce pressure on the website and provide equal opportunities for different citizens to choose their housing unit easily and conveniently.

She also explains that the fund’s website succeeded in dealing with the great pressure from citizens to register, noting that the website is equipped to work efficiently.

In this regard, she points out that two new services have been launched on the fund’s website for unit reservations. The one is an electronic calculator that enables the citizen to calculate the estimated values ​​of the real estate finance amount, via the link https://nch.shmff.gov.eg/home/CalculateLoan, while the one is providing the locations of the housing units offered in different cities in the various projects (Sakan Misr, Dar Misr, and Janna) online to help them to choose a housing unit.

Also, Mai states that the housing units’ terms are ready for immediate delivery to middle-income citizens in projects (Sakan Misr, Dar Misr, and Janna) that have been released through the fund’s new website at the link https://nch.shmff.gov.eg.

Besides, the current offering includes 7,000 housing units of varying sizes and prices in many cities. The Janna project includes units in 5 cities with a serious reservation deposit of EGP 80,000, and areas ranging from 100 to 151 sqm, in El-Shorouk – New Cairo – New Minya – 6th of October – Obour.

Regarding the Dar Misr project, housing units are being offered in 7 cities with areas ranging from 100 to 150 sqm, with a reservation deposit of EGP 60,000, in El Shorouk – October Gardens – Badr – Sadat – 15th of May – 10th of Ramadan – New Borg El Arab. As for the Sakan Misr project, the housing units are being offered in nine cities within the project, with areas ranging from 106 to 133 sqm, with a reservation payment of 40,000 pounds in El Shorouk – New Cairo – Hadayek October – New Minya – Badr – New October – New Obour – New Damietta – Nasser (West Assiut).
