Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar travels to Tanzania accompanied by an Egyptian delegation to follow up on the progress work of the Julius Nyerere dam and Power Station project, Invest-Gate reports.

The delegation is to inspect the progress of work to generate hydroelectric power in Tanzania. The Egyptian delegation includes Mohamed Essam El-Din Ramadan, assistant Minister of Housing, Mahmoud Nassar, head of the Central Agency for Reconstruction and head of the Project Follow-up Committee, and officials of the implementing companies such as “the Arab Contractors, El Sewedy Electric, according to an official statement on May 24.

On his part, El Gazzar confirms that this visit is a part of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi’s keenness on Egypt’s political leadership to periodically follow up on this project, given its utmost importance to Tanzania.
