El Gouna International Squash Championship for Men and Women is set to kick off its Platinum PSA event on May 26, running eight days until June 2, Invest-Gate reports.

Organized by the Red Sea resort city and Events Co., the tournament has backing from sponsor Commercial International Bank of Egypt, the Youth and Sports Ministry, the Tourism and Antiquities Ministry and the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion.

The competition is one of the world’s eight largest squash tournaments by prize value, size and points that determine international rankings. It features 96 players from 21 countries this year.

Carrier and Miramar are platinum sponsors while BMW provides official cars. Ontime Sport is the official media partner, Collard is the official technical partner and Catering 360 is the official caterer.
