The first fully electronic traffic unit is opened in 6th of October City for license renewal and vehicle inspection services to any place in Egypt, Invest-Gate reports.

Head of the New 6th of October City Development Authority Adel El-Naggar says that this unit is for license renewal and vehicle inspection services for any place in Egypt, other than civil status services in the same location, in the context of providing the necessary services to the city’s residents and visitors.

He points out that the electronic traffic unit is located at the new mass transit stop (Aman) on the central axis 101/48 and in front of the National Monorail Project next to Umm Al-Qura School, and the distinguished technical inspection service begins daily, including Friday from 10 am to 10 pm.

Moreover, he confirms that the electronic traffic unit is opened within the plan to deploy advanced traffic units in order to reduce traffic congestion and provide faster services to citizens, as these units operate fully electronically, and papers are submitted and licenses are obtained in the shortest time, pointing out that the unit is currently limited to renewing licenses for vehicles and not for licensing for the first time.

El-Naggar thanks the officials of the Ministry of Interior for their great efforts to provide distinguished services to the city’s residents, stressing that there is complete coordination regarding the provision of various police services to the city’s residents at the highest level.
