El Shahawi Properties launched a new initiative, dubbed “United We Stand; You count and so does every family in need,” to combat the coronavirus (COVID-19), Invest-Gate reports.

The initiative aims to fulfill the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) duties by supporting the livelihood of numerous deprived communities in remote locations across Aswan, as well as Saint Catherine, the company said in a note on April 12.

Furthermore, this initiative is launched in collaboration with the Lebaladna NGO, the CSR organizational arm of Shahawi Properties.

Moreover, ‘United We Stand’ is a community-centric initiative that targets to elevate the financial burdens of distressed families, while honoring the families of both clients and employees.

“As a family business that always puts the welfare of people first, the initiative is a reminder that our communities can only develop and thrive through real unity with the society as a whole for it is in giving that we receive,” the statement concluded.

The company announced earlier it has been working to swiftly adapt during the COVID-19 outbreak by putting the safety of its clients first, as well as its employees.
