Sherif El Sherbini, Egypt’s Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, reviewed the progress of the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative in Hadayek El Asimah, Invest-Gate reports.
The city is set to feature over 100,000 housing units, including 92,802 units for low-income families and 7,368 units with sizes ranging from 100 to 120 square meters for middle-income families.
Moreover, El Sherbini highlighted that 81 service projects are either completed or under construction within the initiative’s areas in Hadayek El Asimah. These services include schools, nurseries, commercial markets, bakeries, medical centers, youth centers, and more, ensuring residents can access all necessary amenities.
Furthermore, the Minister emphasized that under President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s leadership, the Egyptian government has prioritized providing suitable housing within fully serviced urban communities for young people and low-income citizens.
Notably, the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative represents the largest affordable housing project globally, spanning both existing urban areas and new cities nationwide.
