El Sherbini Reviews Progress of CSCEC Projects in NAC, New Alamein with Company Officials

Sherif El Sherbini, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, convened a meeting with representatives of the Chinese company “CSCEC” in Egypt to oversee the progress of the company’s projects in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) and New Alamein City, Invest-Gate reports.

The meeting was attended by Amin Ghoneim, Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) for Urban Development and Development Sector; Mohamed Ragai, Assistant Vice President of NUCA for Financial and Administrative Affairs; Amr Khattab, General Manager of the Minister’s Technical Office; as well as officials from ENCOM company and the consulting office.

During the meeting, El Sherbini examined the schedule devised by the company for executing the initial phase of the “Crystal Lagoon” project situated amidst the Downtown Towers. This project, featuring numerous islands and a range of recreational and commercial amenities to cater to residents and visitors, is encircled by a promenade and aspires to rival similar global ventures. El Sherbini emphasized the importance of adhering to the stipulated timeline.

Furthermore, El Sherbini scrutinized the specific timelines for finalizing the construction of the Downtown Towers project in New Alamein City. This development encompasses five fully furnished residential towers with accompanying services, notably the landmark tower soaring 250 m high across a total area of 465,000 sqm, alongside four 200-m towers covering a combined area of 320,000 sqm. Progress has been made on the concrete structures of four towers within the project, with finishing touches currently underway.

El Sherbini also monitored the schedule for the initial handover of a selection of administrative towers within the Central Business District project in the NAC, in addition to the ongoing finishing works within the scope of the project. The development encompasses 20 towers, including 10 with diverse functions, five residential towers, and the crescent towers offering various amenities.

Notably, the iconic tower, Africa’s tallest at approximately 400 m, will host a myriad of activities spanning hotel, commercial, and administrative functions.
