Emaar Awards AED 196 mn Project to Arabtec Unit

UAE’s contractor Arabtec Holding said on September 26 that its wholly owned subsidiary, Target Engineering Construction Company (Target), won a deal from Emaar Properties, Invest-Gate reports.

Emaar awarded the AED 196 mn deal to Target for the main contract works of Phase 1 of Forte project in Downtown Dubai.

The contract scope includes the construction of five basements for two residential towers.

The project will start this month for a duration of twelve months, the company said in a bourse statement.
