Emaar Extends Marassi’s Summer Season Until End of October, Opening New Horizons for Tourism and Investment

Emaar Misr has announced the extension of the summer season at Marassi in Egypt’s North Coast until the end of October, marking the second consecutive year of prolonging the season. The decision follows last year’s extension, which proved highly successful and reinforced Marassi’s status as one of the region’s premier tourism destinations, Invest-Gate reports.

Visitors will continue to enjoy full access to the city’s beaches, marina, upscale restaurants, retail outlets, and nightlife venues, alongside newly added family-friendly facilities. The season’s highlights include the weekly Marassi Festival at Address Beach, featuring leading Arab artists in September and October, as well as celebrations for Saudi National Day, underscoring cultural and social ties between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Upcoming months will also see a variety of events spanning fashion, entertainment, and children’s activities, designed to offer a comprehensive experience for families and tourists alike.

Mohamed Alabbar, Founder of Emaar Properties, said: “Marassi is no longer just a summer getaway, but a year-round lifestyle destination. Extending the season until October reflects our belief that the North Coast has the potential to remain on the global tourism map for longer, offering vibrant experiences in art, culture, and leisure.”

Alabbar added that the initiative reinforces Marassi’s position as an icon of the North Coast, blending luxury, entertainment, and world-class events. He emphasized that extending the season will boost tourism, stimulate commercial and hospitality activities, and support Egypt’s broader strategy to strengthen its standing as a leading tourism and investment hub in the region.
