Dubai-based developer Emaar Properties is launching the #BuildingCommunities campaign to mark the holy month of Ramadan, Invest-Gate reports.

The new campaign complements the “Year of Giving” initiative announced by UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, supporting less privileged communities through charitable initiatives.

The developer will place over 1,000 #BuildingCommunities boxes across its assets, each with gift vouchers worth AED 100.

The voucher can be utilized at the Dubai Mall, Address Hotels and restaurants, Reel Cinemas and all the company’s businesses. The kindness boxes will also be placed in Emaar’s developments.

Emaar will feature the stories of those who have made a positive change through charity initiatives by displaying inspiring videos of their work.
