Dubai’s Emaar Malls Group purchased a 51% stake in online e-commerce site Namshi for USD 151 mn, according to a bourse statement.

This came after Emaar Malls and Global Fashion Group (GFG) formed a strategic partnership to further the growth of Namshi.

The transaction is expected to be closed within three months. Under the partnership, GFG retains the remaining 49% stake.
