Emaar Misr announced the inauguration of the Address Beach Resort Marassi in Egypt’s North Coast with investments of EGP 5 bn, marking its second hotel under the luxurious brand, Address Hotel and Resorts, Invest-Gate reports.
The opening ceremony witnessed the presence of Khaled Shoaib, Governor of Marsa Matrouh, and Mohamed AlAbbar, Founder of Emaar Properties.
Located in Marassi along an 86,100 sqm private beach, the project includes 118 rooms, 169 serviced apartments, and 69 cabanas. Facilities include four pools, a spa, a gym, a kids club, as well as a group of fancy restaurants.
Address Marassi will help develop North Coast as a tourism destination, said Mohamed AlAbbar, in addition, he expressed confidence in Egypt’s efforts to attract visitors.
Emaar aims to complete a portfolio of 10 hotels representing 3,000 rooms in the area, with total investments reaching EGP 26.3 bn, including hotels already launched and under construction, AlAbbar said.
Recent projects include the inaugurated Address Marassi alongside the renovation of the Alamein Hotel and five planned boutique hotels. Vida Marina Resort is slated to open soon.
AlAbbar credited Egypt’s support for real estate investors and praised Emaar’s Marassi community for world-class standards and role in establishing the largest Mediterranean marina for yachting.
Emaar’s other Egyptian projects comprise Up Town Cairo, Mivida, and New Cairo developments alongside Sheikh Zayed and Belle Vie complexes, demonstrating its commitment to the market. The luxury brand’s debut expands hospitality offerings along Egypt’s emerging coastline.
