Experts Discuss Water Issues at 1st GROHE X Summit

The first day of the first GROHE X Summit sees participation of experts, researchers, and business leaders who discuss numerous contemporary social, economic and environmental issues, Invest-Gate reports.

The three-day event is held between 7 and 9 March with the “Caring for Water” rubric.

GROHE X Summit includes a variety of formats: inspiring keynotes, thought-provoking panel discussions as well as masterclasses which explore and discuss issues concerning the sanitary industry and sustainable building.

The event’s program is complemented by showcases of new products and technologies, demonstrating how GROHE’s product portfolio is ready for the future and providing customers with the best possible support to grow their businesses in a sustainable tomorrow.

The first day of the event focuses on the question of when we call a place home and how our homes have evolved and will evolve in the future.

“Water is the basis of life and our shared passion – and it needs protection, now more than ever”, Jonas Brennwald, Leader, LIXIL EMENA, says.

Elina Hiltunen, a Finnish researcher and advisor on future thinking, gives some inspiring insights on anticipation of the future and planning.

The event also includes insights by Jonas Brennwald, Leader, LIXIL EMENA; Katrin Franzen-Löhning, Leader Market Research, LIXIL EMENA; Gudy Herder, Futurist; and Steve Collinge, Managing Director at Insight Retail Group.

“There is a higher need for relaxation and conscious me-time; and when we look at sustainability, it’s no longer a trend. It is really an obligation for all of us. Consumers look for products that save money and water,” Katrin Franzen-Löhning notes.
