Assem El-Gazzar, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has announced an extension of the application period for citizens interested in applying for the first offering of “Sakan Kol El Masryeen 3” in the real estate financing system, Invest-Gate reports.
The deadline for applications has been extended from January 4 to January 15, in response to increased demand and requests from citizens.
El-Gazzar clarified that this extension applies to citizens who were included in the initial launch of the “Sakan Kol El Masryeen 3” announcement, meet the necessary conditions, are not within the priority category for low-income housing units currently available, have not withdrawn the serious reservation deposit, and have not been previously allocated a housing unit within the same announcement.
Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing and Real Estate Finance Support Fund, explained that this decision was made to accommodate the requests of citizens who wish to take advantage of this opportunity but have not yet completed the required transfer procedures. Specifically, this includes individuals who have not paid the amount required to complete the serious reservation deposit at automated post offices.
Abdel Hamid noted that the number of citizens who have submitted reservation requests has reached more than 61,504, with 52,538 citizens having paid the required amount to complete the serious reservation deposit of EGP 6,000.
