Residents of Emaar South, a joint venture project between Emaar Properties and Dubai South, will be able to check into their homes the upcoming year, Invest-Gate reports.
Emaar South is a master-planned city built on a seven square kilometers surface area and centered on the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, according to a statement by the developer.
As home to the Al Maktoum International Airport, the world’s largest airport in the making, and Expo 2020 Dubai, in addition to the Dubai Airshow, the mega-urban district is billed to become the new logistics hub.
Emaar South residents will be surrounded by green areas, golf fields, bicycle trails, and a well-linked public transportation network.
The compound will be located at the cross-roads of Dubai-Abu Dhabi crossroad, so professionals will have a short drive to Jebel Ali Free Zone and the Dubai World Central Free Zone.
“Emaar South offers the opportunity to be part of the future logistics and aviation hub of the city,” Ahmad Al Matrooshi, managing director of Emaar Properties, says in the statement.
