According to the Turkish Statistical Institute’s statement on Tuesday, the total real estate sales in Turkey during July amounted to 109,548 properties, Invest-Gate reports.
Foreign sales, however, experienced a decline of 28.9% during the mentioned period, totalling 2,801 properties.
Their share of property sales in Turkey accounted for 2.6%, as reported by Anadolu Agency.
Antalya topped the list of Turkish provinces having the most property sales to foreigners with 998 properties. This was followed by Istanbul with 832 properties and Mersin with 263 properties.
Russians ranked first in purchasing properties with 772 acquisitions, followed by Iranians with 272 and Iraqis with 204.
