GV Investments has announced that it is currently in the process of selecting one of four international firms to serve as the general consultant for the infrastructure and facilities of the Tarboul Industrial City project, Invest-Gate reports.
This selection is part of the final stage of the global tender that the company launched earlier, and the envelopes were opened in August and September respectively. The winning company will be announced in the first week of November.
Several major local and international engineering consulting offices, including Dorsch Consult Egypt LLC, the French company Aegis in alliance with Shaker Engineering Consulting Company, Dar El-Estsharat, and EHAF Consulting Engineers, submitted proposals for the tender.
The role of the general consultant for project facilities will involve reviewing the city’s general plan, conducting technical and engineering studies to determine the required facilities and their quantities, as well as identifying paths, networks, main stations, their locations, and sizes. Additionally, the consultant will develop work plans to implement these facilities in stages within the site.
Sherif Hamouda, Chairman of GV Investments, stated, “The participation of major offices and consulting companies in this tender reaffirms the significant importance of Tarboul City and its anticipated role in achieving a transformative shift in Egypt’s industrial cities. This includes sustainable industrial development based on cutting-edge technological systems, solutions, and the highest standards of operation and management. These qualities position it among the global industrial cities that provide manufacturers and producers with all the necessary equipment, facilities, and services under one roof.”
