The FY2017/18 development plan for new cities is 100% completed as of December 30, 2017, Invest-Gate reports.

The New Urban Communities Authority’s (NUCA) Vice Chairman Abdel-Moteleb Mamdouh has ordered the disbursement of payments for contractors who delivered their work, according to a Housing Ministry statement.

He also ordered the withdrawal of projects from contractors who did not meet their deadlines.

Mamdouh also reviewed the distinguished social housing project, Sakan Misr, which is being executed nationwide and is as much as 50% completed in some cities.
