Galaxy Developments Launches Mars Mall in October Gardens at EGP 1.4bn Investments

Galaxy Developments has officially launched the Mars Mall project in the heart of October Gardens, with total investments of EGP 1.4bn, marking a significant addition to the area’s commercial landscape, Invest-Gate reports.

Eng. Saad Abdel Baqi, Chairman of Galaxy Developments, stated that the company has completed 35% of the project’s construction prior to launch, underscoring its credibility and commitment. He highlighted that the company’s board of directors brings over 20 years of experience in real estate development, construction, trade, and contracting, and carefully selects partners to ensure the strength and sustainability of its projects. Galaxy has already partnered with Healthy Care Medical Group to manage the medical clinics and with Deals as the exclusive marketer for Mars Mall.

Eng. Wael Taha, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Galaxy Developments, emphasized the project’s prime location on Italian District Road, directly opposite the Italian District Compound and the Tourist Promenade. The mall is minutes away from Fayoum Road, Al Wahat Road, Mall of Egypt, Zewail City, the Global Village, and major urban amenities. Taha also noted that the company is tailoring its sales and marketing strategies to market requirements and customer needs, offering flexible payment plans of up to 10 years, with delivery scheduled in three years.

Mr. Sameh El-Sharkawy, General Manager of Deals Marketing and Real Estate Consulting, highlighted the project’s modern design, smart services, and multi-use concept. Mars Mall spans 5,910 sqm across two corners, featuring two basements, a ground floor, and two recurring commercial floors. The project includes a basement garage, commercial units on lower and higher ground floors, a first commercial floor, and a second medical floor.

Mr. Walid Soliman, Head of Sales at Deals, added that Mars Mall is set to compete with the biggest market names. Contracts are underway with a major hypermarket for 2,000 sqm on the upper ground floor, as well as with a company to manage the commercial section and a gym. Commercial units start from 30 sqm, priced from EGP 100,000 per sqm, while medical units start from 36 sqm, priced from EGP 58,000 per sqm, with medical units delivered fully finished and commercial units unfinished.

Galaxy Developments’ board brings extensive experience across sectors. Eng. Saad Abdel Baqi has contributed to the construction of 40 residential buildings in October Gardens, while Eng. Wael Taha has over 20 years of experience in investment and medical supplies.
