Food producer and supplier Gourmet Egypt and technology company Softec Technologies have partnered to allow Gourmet’s operations to automate, optimize, and control home delivery as well as the inventory-routing network with artificial intelligence (AI), Invest-Gate reports.
Softec’s AI solution, NORMA, will enable Gourmet to automate its logistics operations to continue scaling with fast, reliable, and customer-centric home delivery services, while also monitoring estimated arrival times and performance benchmarks, according to the company’s recent press release.
With Softec’s AI-driven optimization, autonomous planning, and visibility software, Gourmet envisions to continue its expansion strategy on an advanced technological backbone, while putting customer experience at the heart of its objective, the statement noted.
On his part, Gourmet Egypt CEO and Founder Jalal Abu-Gazaleh stated, “It is all about collaborating with the best in class – NORMA meets this match. We are excited by the prospect of increasing customer delight by improving on-time deliveries and improving efficiency.”
