Gov’t Applies New Electronic System to Improve Suez Canal Maritime Services

A new electronic system will be applied in the Suez Canal Development Project to improve maritime services offered to passing ships, Invest-Gate reports.

Head of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish announces that the new electronic system will be applied in the harbors of West Port Said, East Port Said, Ain El Sokhna, El Arish, El Tor, and Adabiya.

The project will be carried out by the Suez Canal Authority, the Dubai-based DP World, and Snoker Bunkering Company.

The new project also comes as part of an agreement signed by Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr to pump new investments byupgrading services offered in the Suez Canal, according to a released statement.
