Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar announces the implementation of 60 floors in the iconic tower in the Central Business District of the New Administrative Capital, Invest-Gate reports.
The tower is 400 m high and part of 20 towers- to be built- in the Central Business District with investment estimated at USD 3 bn. The project is a part of a cooperation between the Ministry of Housing, represented by the New Urban Communities Authority, and the Chinese company (CSCEC), one of the largest contracting companies in the world, according to an official statement on February 24.
El Gazzar further points out that the implementation rate in the Central Gardens project in the New Administrative Capital reached 33%. The Central Parks are the largest in the Middle East, and the second largest in the world, with a length of more than 10 km on 1000 acres, the statement reads.
The project contains green spaces, lakes, playgrounds, bike paths, restaurant complexes, recreational areas, and some other components such as(Children’s Educational Garden- Celebration Square – Garden – Sports Club – Central Square – Restaurants Complex – Cinema – Interactive Garden – Artwork Garden – Luxury Oasis – Islamic Garden), the statement elaborates.
Moreover, The Minister of Housing states that the completion rate in the third residential neighborhood, “Capital Residence”, in the New Administrative Capital, reached 91%, explaining that the district area spans over 1016 acres, with eight neighborhoods, and 24,130 housing units distributed as follows; 19944 housing units contains 328 villas, 328 housing units and 157 townhouse, 624 housing units, and 64 “residential buildings”, and mixed-use building that contain 2560 housing units, 151,360 commercial and administrative, and nine mixed-use buildings containing 674 housing units.
