Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar has reviewed the general strategic plan for the new city of New Rashid, Invest-Gate reports.

During the ministerial meeting, El Gazzar emphasized that the new city of Rashid is an extension to Rashid city’s heritage with its historical value and distinguished location, according to an official statement on October 7.

He further urged the completion of New Rashid’s general strategic plan, stressing the optimum utilization of all the city’s land plots, especially those on the beachfront.

El Gazzar also asks for issuing a reference guide to include all architectural and urban requirements that are to be implemented across all projects in the newly-introduced city.
