Mohamed Ragab, head of the New Damietta Development Authority and supervisor of New Mansoura City, has inspected the implementation work to enhance the efficiency of the western entrance of the new city of Damietta and the extension road (A2), Invest-Gate reports.
Ragab visits the entrance with a length of 820 m and a width of 85 m, accompanied by officials. This project targets to connect New Damietta by the new coastal international road to ease the traffic flow, according to an official statement on February 11.
Ragab further elaborates that the project includes the implementation of a road linking the city with the coastal road with a total cost estimated at EGP33 mn. The head of the authority stresses the need to adhere to the specific timetable submitted and approved while taking all precautionary and preventive measures to confront the emerging coronavirus, to preserve the health and safety of the engineers, supervisors, and workers at the site. He also highlights that this comes within the framework of the sustainable development plan in the city.
