Gov’t Plans to Offer 2,082 Plots in 17 New Cities

Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar said 2,082 plots will be offered in 17 new cities, starting from September 17, Invest-Gate reports.

Registration and payment of upfronts for the reservation of 1,268 and 814 distinguished and more distinguished housing plots in 17 new cities will be through the website the Housing and Development Bank’s (HDB) website: (www.hdb-reservation.com), El Gazzar said in a ministerial statement on September 11.

According to Deputy Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities for National Projects Khaled Abbas, 50 distinguished housing areas will be put forth in New October City, while another 528 plots will be provided in 10th of Ramadan City, alongside 150 and 40 others in Sadat City and New Borg El Arab, respectively.

Abbas further stated that 100 distinguished plots will be offered in each of Nasser City, West Qena, New Beni Suef, Badr City, and New Sohag.

As for the more distinguished ones, 300 and 115 plots will be presented in New Cairo and New Damietta, separately, whilst 104 others are set to be extended in New Minya. Besides, 68 plots will be assigned in 6th of October City, together with another 23, 20,14 lands in Badr City, New Aswan, and New Obour City, respectively, he noted, adding that 170 housing areas will be alotted in 10th of Ramadan City.

El Gazzar confirmed on September 6 that the housing ministry is planning to shortly make the largest land offerings in new cities, including residential, service, and commercial plots, while presenting various distinguished apartments and villas nationwide, according to a previous ministerial statement.
