Assem Al-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Mohamed Ahmed Morsi, Minister of State for Military Production review the possibility of using synthetic grass in the landscape of the new cities, Invest-gate reports.
The landscape is produced in cooperation between the ministries of youth and the state for military production, according to an official statement.
“We are studying the possibility of using artificial turf in landscaping works in new cities, given its long-term cost is lower than natural grass and to maximize the benefit from Egyptian products implemented by various state agencies,” Al-Gazzar was quoted as saying.
On his part, Sobhi indicates, “We aim to produce synthetic grass at the highest quality at the lowest cost to be used in the various projects implemented by the state.”
Furthermore, Morsi adds that the industrial grass production project, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, is one of the most successful projects implemented by the ministry. The artificial grass is produced with German technology of the highest quality, and the lowest cost a price that competes with imported products.
