Gov’t Seeks to Salvage Fourteen Stalled Projects

The government is seeking to salvage fourteen projects worth EGP 4 bn which were stalled due to ministerial orders and lack of financing, Invest-Gate reports.

The projects, most of which are almost complete, span an area of 300,000 feddans and range different sectors, including buildings, agriculture and other developments, according to released statement by the Committee for Looted State lands.

Discussion of ways to salvage the projects came at a meeting between Head of Strategic and National Projects Ibrahim Mahlab and a host of officials concerned with the issue.
