Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouly has checked up on a number of projects in New Al-Alamein City, Invest-Gate reports.
The ministry has started the implementation of 5,000 residential units in Sakan Misr project, Madbouly says in a statement.
The government has begun the construction of 5,000 distinguished housing units, of which 2,000 are finished, while work on 1,120 mixed-use units, with areas starting from 125 to 185 square meters, is expected to be finished in summer 2019.
The ministry assigned six companies including Hassan Allam Sons, Orascom Construction, and Dorra Group to establish 15 towers varying between 27 and 40 floors in the city, with expectations to be finished in 24 months from January 2018.
