Gov’t to Deliver 33 Distinguished Buildings in New Alamein

Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar said 33 distinguished housing buildings will be delivered in New Alamein starting next January, Invest-Gate reports.

Head of New Alamein City Authority Osama Abdel Ghany revealed that some residential units will be handed over as of January 5, while others will be presented starting from March 3, according to an official statement on December 18.

In early December, El Gazzar unveiled that New Alamein is gearing up to host two Arab and African canoe-kayak championships, coming under the patronage of the Holding Company of Water and Wastewater (HCWW) and Arab Contractors, with the participation of 22 regional countries.

This came during Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar’s visit to New Alamein to review the latest updates, where he stressed that works at 15 coastal towers being undertaken in the new city, or 4,500 residences, have been 82% completed, finishing 34 out of 41 floors at some of them.

President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi had inaugurated New Alamein in March 2018. The city’s masterplan involves 14 residential districts as well as a few industrial, logistical, commercial, and service areas.
