The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) Deputy Chairman Abdulmutallab Emara has announced that the government plans to issue a new law for the registration of ready phases of any new project to ease the whole process, Invest-Gate reports.
The authority is committed to delivering phase I of new cities by next June, Emara added on the sidelines of the fourth “Real Estate Debate” by Al Mal GTM. He further highlighted that NUCA is keen on completing the transportation network that links the New Administrative Capital (NAC) and other areas of Greater Cairo to guarantee traffic liquidity.
Generally, the fourth-generation cities are divided into three phases, the first of which includes New Toshka City, New Aswan, Nasser City, West Qena. The second phase boasts New Fashn and New Malawi cities, while the third one includes New Luxor, New Nagaa Hammadi, and New Bani Mazar, the official explained.
Speaking of land offering mechanisms in new cities, Emara noted that no plots are offered for individuals in the new cities to guarantee its development progress, adding that the government will take serious actions against landowners of unused parcels.
Additionally, NUCA will offer water and sewage plants, as well as, power stations to be implemented by private developers through the usufruct system, he underlined.
