The foundation stone for a AED 330 mn housing project in Ras Al-Khaimah was laid in the presence of several representatives of the emirate’s and the UAE’s leadership on Saturday, according to state owned WAM news agency.

The Bateen Al Samar project in the emirate will comprise of 354 residential units on an area of 396,480 square meters of land and is expected to be finished by early 2019.

The project is part of a larger UAE programme with Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al-Khaimah, stating that “In implementation of the leadership’s directives, the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme is undertaking several mega housing projects across the emirates.”
