Housing and Development Properties (HDP), the real estate arm of the Housing and Development Bank, hosted the third edition of the “School of Happiness” initiative in collaboration with “Al Manfaz,” an initiative by Focus Experiential Marketing Agency, and under the patronage of the Ministry of Education. The event took place at HDP’s Square One Exclusive Residences in New Cairo, Invest-Gate reports.
The initiative aims to provide school supplies to underprivileged students across Egypt, supporting equal access to education. HDP employees and executives volunteered to help prepare and distribute the materials, reinforcing the company’s commitment to community engagement.
Hossam Eissa, CEO of HDP, said: “True real estate development goes beyond building projects—it means building people and communities. Hosting ‘School of Happiness’ reflects our commitment to education and empowering future generations through impactful initiatives that touch the lives of thousands of students and families.”
Kareem Mekki, CEO of Focus Experiential Marketing Agency, added: “This initiative is a real example of the importance of collaboration between government institutions and the private sector. Over the past two editions, it has brought smiles to thousands of students by distributing supplies and refurbishing public schools.”
The program builds on Focus’s wider social responsibility efforts, including the annual “Al Manfaz – Everyday Story” campaign, which distributes food supplies to families in need during Ramadan under the patronage of the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
