Head of New Cairo City Development Authority Conducts Inspection of Road and Sewage Lift Station Projects

Abdel Raouf El-Gheity, the head of the New Cairo City Development Authority, conducted an inspection of the remaining tasks at the sewage lift station No. 11 and its associated expulsion line, which is responsible for transporting sewage water in the Andalus region and its extension, Invest-Gate reports.

He also monitored the progress of the ongoing work at Station No. 12 and along the sewage station extension, to accelerate the completion of the sewage system in the Andalus region, thereby attracting investors.

El-Gheity further visited the construction site of Corridor 24, a 10-kilometer-long and 75-meter-wide road that connects the southern and northern 90th streets. During the visit, he issued immediate instructions to the companies working on the project, to intensify their efforts around the clock to swiftly finish the construction of this crucial axis to open it to residents as soon as possible.

In a related context, El-Gheity observed the ongoing road works in the Gardenia neighborhood. During the inspection, he emphasized the importance of daily cleaning tasks, particularly the sidewalks. He also stressed the need for road maintenance and the restoration of any areas affected by road cuts resulting from construction work. Additionally, he emphasized the necessity of regular maintenance for green spaces and agricultural areas in all neighborhoods.

Continuing the tour, he proceeded to the West Golf Extension area in the Third Settlement. He underscored the urgency of intensifying work efforts, coordinating activities on-site, and progressing with road construction and agricultural projects in the area.
