Housing Minister, Accor Group Discuss Hotel Developments in Central Business District of NAC

Eng. Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a meeting with representatives of Accor Group, a global hotel management company that owns multiple hotel brands worldwide, Invest-Gate reports.

The meeting was attended by officials from the Ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, representatives of City Edge Developments, and hotel operation and furnishing officials in the Central Business District of the New Administrative Capital (NAC).

El Sherbini pointed out that the meeting aimed to follow up on the status of hotels in the towers of the Central Business District in the NAC and to review developments related to finishing and furnishing.

During the meeting, El Sherbini discussed the ongoing work on the project, as well as the coordination, approval, implementation, and furnishing plan according to the requirements of Accor, which owns the Fairmont and Raffles hotel brands.

He emphasized the importance of intensifying work according to the specified timelines and addressing all project needs to ensure progress and timely completion.

Additionally, El Sherbini stressed the necessity of adhering to the deadlines for completing all ongoing work and expediting approvals for any unapproved models.

He highlighted the need for ongoing coordination with the operator to ensure constant on-site presence and effective communication with the project implementation team.

For their part, representatives of Accor Group expressed their satisfaction with the meeting and their pride in working on the NAC projects, affirming their commitment to meeting all specified timelines for the required work.
