Eng. Sherif El Sherbini Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities met with major real estate developers to discuss the application of the improvement premium on lands along the Cairo–Alexandria Desert Road and the North Coast. Senior officials from the ministry and the New Urban Communities Authority attended the meeting, Invest-Gate reports.

El Sherbini stressed the state’s commitment to supporting developers, easing procedures related to the premium, and providing facilities to encourage private sector participation in housing programs. He noted that a breakthrough has been achieved in addressing the issue, with new measures introduced to facilitate payments for investors.

Developers expressed their gratitude for the government’s efforts to open opportunities, simplify procedures, and engage with their proposals. They highlighted that the meeting fostered mutual understanding and demonstrated the ministry’s strong commitment to resolving sector challenges and promoting investment in real estate development.
