Housing Minister Assesses Marketing Plans, Promotional Campaigns for Residential Units in New Cities Projects

Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has convened an extensive meeting to review the marketing plans and promotional campaigns for residential units in new city projects, whether they are ready or nearing completion, Invest-Gate reports.

This initiative falls within the Ministry’s overarching efforts to optimize financial returns, boost occupancy rates, and enhance housing availability in new cities, aligning with the objectives of their development.

The meeting was attended by several key figures, including Walid Abbas, Assistant Minister of Housing for New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) Affairs; Amin Ghoneim, Vice President of NUCA for the Development and City Development Sector; Hassan El-Shorbagi, Vice President of NUCA for Real Estate and Commercial Affairs Sector; Abdel Khaleq Ibrahim, Assistant Minister of Housing for Technical Affairs; Akram Saad and Mohamed Ragai, Assistants Vice President of NUCA for the Financial and Administrative Affairs Sector; Hassan Ismail Ghanem, Chairman of the Housing and Development Bank; as well as representatives from leading real estate marketing companies.

El Sherbini directed the need to formulate clear and well-defined marketing plans with specific time frames to achieve the targeted rates for unit sales. He also emphasized the importance of continuous monitoring, evaluation, and assessment of the implementation progress of these plans, aiming to attain the desired goals and maximize the utilization of the available housing stock under the NUCA.

El Sherbini highlighted that the Egyptian state, represented by the Ministry of Housing, has devoted significant efforts to execute diverse housing projects to cater to the needs and requirements of various segments of Egyptian society. These efforts aim to drive development rates in new cities forward. Now, the focus is on reaping the benefits and maximizing returns from the substantial investments made to sustain the urban development process.
