Housing Minister Discusses Cooperation with the Official Egyptian Real Estate Platform

Eng. Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities met today with Ahmed El Batrawy, representative of the Official Egyptian Real Estate Platform, along with a delegation from the platform, to explore potential collaboration, Senior officials from the Ministry of Housing were also present, Invest-Gate reports.

During the meeting, El Sherbini emphasized the ministry’s commitment to supporting the the Official Egyptian Real Estate Platform in its mission to promote Egyptian real estate to foreign investors and facilitate property exports. He highlighted that the initiative aligns with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives to attract foreign investment and position Egypt as a prime destination for both living and investment.

The minister also underscored the government’s efforts to advance digital transformation in the real estate sector, stressing that urban and real estate development remains a national priority. He noted that the housing sector plays a key role in driving economic growth and reiterated the ministry’s readiness to collaborate with the platform by listing a selection of residential units from various new city projects.

El Batrawy welcomed the partnership, describing the the Official Egyptian Real Estate Platform as a centralized hub for property information, offering a comprehensive database and digital ecosystem. He explained that the platform is designed to establish a unified real estate marketplace, featuring a dedicated mobile application to enhance accessibility for potential buyers and investors.
