Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has convened a meeting with officials from City Edge Developments to discuss strategies and proposals aimed at bolstering the company’s position as a key arm of the Ministry of Housing in real estate development and marketing, Invest-Gate reports.
Present at the meeting were Amin Ghoneim, Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) for Development and City Development Sector; Ahmed Moussa, Assistant Vice President of NUCA for Planning and Projects; and Amr Khattab, General Manager of the Minister’s Technical Office.
El Sherbini was briefed on City Edge Developments’ comprehensive plans for the management, operation, and promotion of numerous residential, commercial, administrative, and recreational projects overseen by the Ministry of Housing.
These projects include the “Zahya” project in New Mansoura City, the “Mazarine” compound in New Alamein City, the fifth residential district project “Garden City” in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), the “Fustat Hills Garden” undertaking in Cairo Governorate, among others.
Emphasizing the Ministry’s objective to optimize returns from investments in housing and development ventures across new cities, El Sherbini highlighted the goal of boosting occupancy rates, enhancing housing accessibility in these locales and maximizing profits to sustain ongoing efforts in executing diverse housing and development projects tailored to cater to the needs of various segments of Egyptian society.
This strategic approach also aims to continue advancing urban development initiatives, some of which are funded by revenues generated from targeted project promotions.
