The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) board chaired by Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Moustafa Madbouly, approved the extension of the payment deadline for Dar Misr social housing project to the 1st of January 1st, 2017, upon delivery of units, reported Invest Gate.
Payments are set at EGP 7,500 for units between 100 and 115 square meters, and EGP 10,000 for 130,140, and 150 square meter units. Installments are planned to be every three months.
“An approval was granted to Al Ahly, Zamalek and Al-Jazeera sports clubs to establish new clubs in El Sheikh Zayed and 6th of October Cities, provided that each of the 3 clubs obtain all clearances and permits, as well as complete all construction work and paying all dues within a time frame of 2 years,” a press release by the ministry stated.
The board also gave the green light to allocate a 3,282 square meter piece of land, adjacent to the one previously allocated for the charity Foundation, Shifaa, where a cancer treatment children’s hospital was built in New Thebes City. The allocation was set in exchange for a price, in accordance with the usufruct system.
A 1,000 square meter piece of land was also approved to be allocated for the Ministry of Interior (MOI), through a transfer of assets, to build a civil affairs complex in the city.
Points of sale for low income residential units will also be established in the following cities: 10th of Ramadan, New Minya, New Beni Suif, Sadat, New Qena, New Aswan, New Salheya, and New Fayoum.
