Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, outlined the Egyptian urban experience in its various forms, Invest-Gate reports.

This includes the establishment and development of fourth-generation cities, the provision of diverse housing units for different segments of society, and the improvement of unsafe and unplanned areas,

He also presented the available investment opportunities in new cities.

This discussion took place during a dialogue session with Amna bint Ahmed Al Romaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning in Bahrain, on the sidelines of Cityscape Global Exhibition in Riyadh.

The session was attended by Majed Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipalities and Housing in Saudi Arabia, along with other participants in the exhibition.

During the session, El Sherbini highlighted key pioneering projects achieved by the Egyptian state in recent years under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Notable projects include the Central Business District and Central Gardens in the New Administrative Capital, both of which are being implemented for the first time in Egypt, as well as the New Alamein City projects and other initiatives in fourth-generation cities.

Additionally, El Sherbini discussed the investment opportunities available to global investors, particularly those from the Gulf States.

He emphasized the Egyptian state’s readiness, represented by the Ministry of Housing, to export and share its urban experience with brothers in Arab and African countries, as well as to promote real estate investments within the framework of incentives offered by the state for non-Egyptians to acquire property in Egypt.

He noted the Egyptian state’s experience in partnering with the private sector and real estate developers to implement several pioneering urban projects. These initiatives have achieved significant success and provided various types of real estate products.
