Eng. Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, met with Michael Galpert, CEO of Forbes Global, and his accompanying delegation to review the Forbes Global Tower project in Egypt, as part of the Ministry’s efforts to support international projects and investments in the Egyptian market, Invest-Gate reports.
Supporting Global Projects and Attracting International Investment
Eng. Randa El-Menshawy emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to supporting projects with an international dimension and creating a favorable environment for global companies and brands to expand their presence in the Egyptian market.
She highlighted the importance of Forbes’ projects in strengthening private-sector partnerships and attracting international investment, in line with the state’s efforts to promote green building standards and sustainability across urban development projects.
During the meeting, Michael Galpert presented an overview of the Forbes Global Tower, describing it as a landmark project that combines innovative urban development with environmental sustainability. The project is set to become the world’s first zero-carbon-emission tower.
He also outlined Forbes’ vision for developing the project in Egypt, praising the country’s ongoing urban and development renaissance, as well as the advanced infrastructure and capabilities offered by its new cities.
He noted that the project represents an important step toward strengthening the Forbes brand’s presence in Egypt and the region.

Forbes Global Tower and Green Building Standards
The Forbes Global CEO expressed his appreciation to Eng. Randa El-Menshawy and the Ministry of Housing for their continued support, noting that the project’s Platinum certification under the Green Pyramid Rating System, issued by the National Research Center for Housing and Building, reflects the government’s and relevant authorities’ commitment to applying sustainability and green building standards.
He added that the certification represents an important element in bringing the project’s vision to life in accordance with the highest international standards.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continued coordination and cooperation, leveraging available expertise and capabilities to support development efforts and create further opportunities for collaboration with global companies and institutions.
