Housing Minister Meets with Developers, Entities Representatives Operating in the Northwest Coast Region

Eng. Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, met with several real estate developers and representatives of entities operating in the Northwest Coast region to discuss cooperation opportunities and monitor development progress, Invest-Gate reports.

Officials from the ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority, and the New Alamein City and Northwest Coast Development Authorities were also present.

El Sherbini emphasized that the meeting is part of the state’s commitment to developing the Northwest Coast region. He noted the importance of ensuring integration between the projects currently underway, highlighting that the Ministry of Housing has a comprehensive vision for the region’s development.

He stressed the need to prioritize the hotel component of targeted development sectors, especially given the recent surge in demand on the North Coast and the increasing number of incoming tourists. This approach supports the state’s goal of expanding hotel room capacity along the Northwest Coast.

The meeting reviewed various ideas and proposals to maximize the use of available land and ensure integration between projects and development zones in the region. The Minister directed that efforts be made to coordinate with operating companies to address any obstacles they encounter during project implementation.

In response, the major developers expressed their gratitude to El Sherbini for the ministry’s proactive approach to developing the Northwest Coast region. They also presented several requests aimed at facilitating the acceleration of work and the implementation of projects in the area.
