Sherif El Sherbini, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has convened an extensive meeting at the New Alamein City Authority headquarters, Invest-Gate reports.

The meeting included all contracting companies, consulting offices, and operation and maintenance companies involved in New Alamein City projects. The purpose was to track the progress of the projects, boost completion rates, and overcome any obstacles. Officials from the Ministry, the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), and the city authority were present at the meeting.

During the meeting, El Sherbini emphasized that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives emphasize the importance of timely payment for work and the completion of projects in New Alamein City. The city holds significant importance as it serves as a launching point for the development of the northwest coast.

El Sherbini stressed the importance of teamwork, stating that success is a collective achievement that benefits everyone, rather than an individual accomplishment.

Addressing the company officials, El Sherbini stated, “We must start tomorrow with utmost determination to accelerate the completion rates of various projects. It is unacceptable to tolerate any shortcomings or complacency.” He expressed his support and called for collaborative efforts to overcome difficulties, remove obstacles, and find innovative solutions to problems.

El Sherbini directed the increase in the number of workers and equipment, compression of work rates, presentation of work sites in an organized manner, and prompt waste removal.

Furthermore, El Sherbini instructed the contracting companies to establish specific and compressed timetables for completing residential projects with the highest quality.

He emphasized the need to deliver the units to the residents and urged urgent and quick efforts to complete the finishing touches on facades, entrances, and site coordination work for buildings along the road axes. This aims to enhance the visual appeal on both sides of the road axes and showcase the collective efforts to all visitors of the city.

Regarding operation and maintenance work, El Sherbini directed the responsible companies to carry out their tasks at the highest level. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the appropriate appearance and urban condition of the various projects in New Alamein City.
