Housing Minister Sherif El Sherbini highlighted the future of real estate development in Egypt during a keynote speech at the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association’s Suhoor gathering, Invest-Gate reports. The event, held last night, brought together top real estate developers and industry leaders.
El Sherbini welcomed the attendees, emphasizing the real estate sector’s critical role in Egypt’s economic development. He described the industry as a key driver of economic growth, contributing significantly to job creation, investment inflows, and sustainable urban expansion. He pointed out that the sector has undergone an unprecedented transformation, aligned with Egypt Vision 2030, which aims to achieve integrated and sustainable urban development.
“We are committed to developing a legislative and regulatory framework that encourages investment, fosters innovation, and ensures a balance between supply and demand,” El Sherbini stated. “This will help meet the needs of both citizens and investors.”
He stressed that real estate development is more than just constructing buildings—it is about shaping future communities, improving quality of life, and building modern cities that align with future generations’ aspirations. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting the sector through policies and initiatives that enhance the business environment, promote innovation, and integrate advanced urban planning and construction technologies.
